Welcome to my first blogpost. Here’s how to cook an egg.
I eat a lot of eggs. I’m not a fancy chef, but I am satisfied with how I cook my eggs. Here’s how I do it:
Get some eggs.
The first thing you want to do is find some eggs, so go to the store, buy a carton of eggs and bring it home.
Here are the other things you’ll need.
I use a small frying pan with a lid to cook my eggs, and I usually cook two. You’re also going to need oil and some spices for flavor. I use crunchy chili oil from Trader Joe’s, Korean chili flakes and garlic salt. Oh, and you’ll need a stovetop (or some way to heat up your pan).
Start cooking.
Put the pan on the stove and turn the burner on. You’ll then add enough oil to coat the pan. It’s probably going to be about a tablespoon or two. Let that heat up for about a minute. You can tell the oil is ready when it loosens up and moves around the pan fairly quickly when you tilt the pan around.
Once the oil is warmed up, crack your egg into the pan. Season the egg with your choice of spices and then cover with the lid.
After 1-2 minutes, the yolk of your egg should be covered in a white film and that’s when you know it’s ready.
How I eat it.
I like to eat these eggs over rice with some kewpie mayo, furikake, and teriyaki sauce. The yolk is slightly runny and it’s SO good.
